My name is Derek B. (older pseudonym: Naeolin). This blog, like many found throughout the internet, is intended to be a platform for my musings on Tabletop Roleplaying Games, in particular games of the OSR/NSR persuasion. Don't worry if you don't know what that means. I basically like games where decisions matter and happen mostly during the game (as opposed to before or after). Games that emphasize problem-solving and exploration over optimization and the pursuit of a preordained story.
In addition to blogging, I also do Developmental Editing on rulebooks and adventure modules. I am probably best known for my work on Cairn Second Edition, where I served as the member of the Dev team responsible for Editing and Development.
